Lee Memorial Library in Allendale is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper for 10 hours per week. This is an on-site position with flexible hours. Responsibilities include: Reviewing and submitting bi-weekly payroll reporting for approximately 12 employees Managing financial reporting of receipts and disbursements to appropriate accountsReconciling accounts with bank statements on a monthly basisProviding financial reports to management and the Board of Trustees to be used at monthly meetingsWorking with management and Finance Committee on the annual operating budgetCoordinating materials, answering questions, and providing support during the annual audit by third-party firm Qualifications include: Demonstrated experience with QuickBooks and MS ExcelKnowledge of Fund Accounting (Operating and Capital), Budget and Actuals Analysis, and an understanding of Fund BalanceTwo years professional experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and/or payrollThe ability to effectively communicate and work as part of a team Education requirements: Associate's Degree consideredBachelor's Degree preferred Compensation: $25 - $28 per hour, depending on experience Please send a cover letter and resume to Recruitment@Allendale.bccls.org.
